March 2026 Hosting Made with Wool in Bala with Menter Môn Ltd last month was a reminder that wool connects more industries than many people realise.
From farming and research to textiles, manufacturing and design, wool is the fibre that helps hold those worlds together, with opportunities running right through the supply chain.
The event also highlighted emerging opportunities for by-products and new commercial uses beyond wool’s more familiar applications.
At LanoTech, we were there discussing how lanolin, the natural grease found in wool, could support a more circular agricultural system as an alternative ingredient to soy and palm oil in animal feed.
It was encouraging to see such positive discussion about the future of wool.
A big thank you to all who attended.
