September 2026 240 day-old chicks arrived at SRUC in Edinburgh last week for the start of LanoTech’s second poultry trial. The chicks were weighed and randomly assigned ten to a pen, where they quickly cottoned on to eating, drinking and socialising. Even at a day old, chicks are inquisitive little chaps. April 2026 LANO-SHRIMP! LanoTech Ltd’s first live shrimp trials are making a splash at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe. The shrimp are growing fast, ably supported by Charlotte Davies and Rosie Watts at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research CSAR.
