June 2026 Turning Welsh wool into a feed ingredient wasn't an obvious business plan. Without Innovate UK support, we wouldn’t have got from concept to live animal feed trials in such a short time.

Wool is often worth less than the cost of taking it off the sheep, while the UK imports large volumes of feed fats from overseas. LanoTech Ltd is exploring whether those two problems might have one solution.
