April 2026 LANO-SHRIMP! LanoTech Ltd’s first live shrimp trials are making a splash at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe.

The shrimp are growing fast, ably supported by Charlotte Davies and Rosie Watts at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research CSAR. The trial is funded through the SPARK AgriFood programme from Innovate UK.

We recently met the other projects on the programme. From shrimp to dairy to oysters, everyone is tackling different challenges across farmed animal and aquaculture systems.
